Both restored respecting their original structures with the will to offer guests the best of current designs, the two properties are respectively located inside an historical building of the eighteenth century and in a twentieth century residence. Antica Pusterla Relais & Maison is the ideal place to feel the atmosphere of differente ras, from the Middle Ages to the contemporary times.

A look into the past

If we could turn back time, we would see that Vicenza – as we know it today – was structured differently in the past. The origins of Antica Pusterla take us back in time to an ancient Vicenza and its sixteenth-century representation, the so-called ‘Pianta Angelica’.

Looking closely at the northern part of the map, you will see a small entrance – commonly known as Pusterula – that once connected the town with Contrà Pusterla, hence the name of the district. From the seventeenth-century onwards this area is known as “Quartiere San Marco” and nowadays it is one of the most elegant and luxurious district of the city.

Here - along the ruins of the old Borgo Pusterla - lies Antica Pusterla Relais & Maison.

Suspended between the past and the present

Coming from the crowded shopping streets of the city, Antica Pusterla welcomes you in two simple but sophisticated buildings, with a neoclassical facade the first and a noble post-war residence the other.

Walking through their distinctive portego you will soon face the venetian style flooring, the liberty stained glass, the ashlar and white stone basement that are just some small hints of ancient times that you will see and learn about; the combination of high-tech domotic systems amidst a very refined and elegant context will ensure you a memorable stay in Antica Pusterla Relais & Maison.

If you are looking for some pleasant moments, enjoy some relaxing times after a long day by spending some time in our quiet and classy patios.
